SLAB-DIP
High Solids Rubber Anti-Tack Compound
DESCRIPTION
SLAB-DIP is a high solids mixture of modified carbonates and soaps. This clay-free product is supplied as an easy to disperse slurry that is formulated to evenly coat low durometer and highly plasticized rubber compounds.
SLAB-DIP imparts a uniform, non-dusting, non-greasy anti-tack coating on a wide variety of stocks including cold flowing soft natural rubber and butyl compounds.
SLAB-DIP has an average use level of 2 - 5% active solids by weight. The product has not demonstrated any adverse effect on elastomer flow or vulcanization properties.
SLAB-DIP is designed for compounders who air-cool their stock after the dip has been applied.
