DRY-DIP KSF
Powdered Rubber Anti-Tack Compound
DESCRIPTION
DRY-DIP KSF is a mixture of organically modified wetting agents and silicates. The product is supplied as a free-flowing powder that is formulated to evenly coat low durometer and highly plasticized rubber compounds.
Dispersible in cold water, the product’s unique wetting, non-settling, and non-foaming properties are stable after an initial mixing time of less than thirty minutes. Once properly dispersed, the product yields a clear, fast drying, non-dusting anti-tack coating that is essentially free of any crystalline residue.
DRY-DIP KSF is biologically stable and will significantly reduce the amount of build-up found on process equipment chains, belts, and festoon bars.
The product is zinc-free and contains less than 0.05 percent alpha quartz, well under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) permissible level.
DRY-DIP KSF is designed to impart a uniform, non-greasy anti-tack coating on a wide variety of stocks including cold flowing soft natural rubber and butyl compounds.
DRY-DIP®KSF will help insure consistent feed of coated compound into cold feed extruders.
DRY-DIP KSF is designed for compounders who air-cool their stock after the dip has been applied.
